Amy Shaw

Amy Shaw is a musician and writer specializing in topics related to music history and folklore. Ole Hendricks and His Tunebook is her first book. She has also written about early English flutes, turn-of-the-century mandolin orchestras in Minnesota, and traditional Irish music. One of her great joys is uncovering a musician’s story, especially that of an immigrant musician, and communicating that story to readers and listeners.
