Scott Polley

Scott Polley is a Christian author, Bible teacher, and longtime ministry leader whose writings focus on spiritual formation, biblical holiness, and practical Christian living. Drawing from over four decades of pastoral ministry, evangelism, and cross-cultural mission work, Scott develops Scripture-centered studies that guide believers toward maturity in Christ.

Much of his work responds to 2 Peter 1:3–15, exploring themes such as faith, goodness, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love. His multi-volume “Aligning With the Divine” series and related topical studies provide structured pathways for personal growth, small group study, and sermon preparation.

In addition to theological and character-formation studies, Scott has written devotional resources including From Worry to Worship, There Is Hope, and Conquering Anger, Hurt, and Related Emotions, addressing anxiety, emotional healing, and renewed thinking through Scripture.

His writings reflect a Wesleyan-Arminian perspective, emphasizing sanctification as a grace-driven, lifelong journey toward Christlikeness.

Beyond writing, Scott expresses storytelling through photography and digital artwork, as seen in his coffee table collection Let the Story Be Told – Along the Shore, capturing reflective moments that invite deeper thought.

After a serious health challenge that limited his pastoral capacity, Scott redirected decades of teaching material into written resources designed for individuals, churches, and small groups seeking biblically grounded growth.

He remains dedicated to helping believers think biblically in a chaotic world and live anchored in the transforming power of grace.
