About the Author

Avik has been known to me for long. When he was a tender- aged student of Hare School, I didn’t even think what a latent talent is hidden in his little teenager. Today this little tender- aged boy was an accomplished Electrical Engineer succeeding in dealing with many steps. After passing from Hare School Avik graduated from “Manipal University.” Then he was engaged in teaching in that university. After this, he took M. Tech. and PhD from an institute of eminence -“IIT” Kharagpur. After the completion of his education he had been involved in Solar Conductor for two years. At that time he passed about one and a half year in Denmark for the institutional work. After that, he was connected with ‘Samtel’ at Delhi. At present, he is performing his duties as an Assistant Professor at IIT Roorkee-oldest Engineering Institute of India . He has attended and given invites talk on international conferences in different countries including Australia, Spin, China, Japan, Singapore ect.

He is senior member of IEEE/IET -top journal in his field of Electrical and Electronics and has published many technical writings in these revered journal. He has guided two Ph.d student and at least dozens of student perusing Phd under him. I wonder how he finds time for literary culture in spite of his having professional work. Because he is a tireless worker. He does not become easily tired. In that sense he is a philosopher. He thinks that life is in complete if one possesses only the knowledge of science. There must have the covering of literature. His literary creation is the result of this diligent labor. Who thought that an artist of literature was hidden in this Professor of science? With the study of science he is cultivation literature. His writings had been published in various newspapers before this story book was written by him. For instance, little magazine- Nahabat, Angikar, Adat Katha, Adarer Nouka etc. I hope, he will keep his literary entity alive despite his business in profession and in near future many fascinating literary articles will be composed from his pen.
