Sonia Kermen: a versatile and committed author
A French author of Breton origin who has been living in the United States for 18 years (she currently resides in Boone, North Carolina, after having lived in California and Colorado). Renowned for her literary versatility, she has published a wide variety of works, including an autobiography, a thriller, poetry collections, and bilingual children's books. Her writing, deeply rooted in the themes of forgiveness and resilience, is inspired by her personal journey (psychology and teaching). Also a philanthropist, Sonia uses literature not only to inspire, but also to encourage collective creation. She is the co-author of participatory anthologies and will contribute to the collective work “Le Jour Où Elles Se Sont Choisies (The Day They Chose Each Other, to be published in March 2026, Mindset Editions), a hymn to female empowerment. When she is not writing, Sonia Kermen finds inspiration in her passions: photography, cooking, hiking, and reading.
