Robert studied mechanical engineering and law. After graduating from Georgetown Law School, he practiced patent, trademark, copyright, and business law most recently with Becton Dickinson Company. He earlier had worked in in the fields of heat transfer and in fluidics. He has traveled as a United Nations consultant in intellectual property to Asian countries including China, Singapore and Indonesia to give seminar presentations
He has taught employment and business law as an adjunct professor. He taught fine art oil painting for 15 years in a local adult education program. Robert is a former president of the Ridgewood Art Institute where he painted and served in various leadership capacities. He also served as president of the International Trademark Association. He was an arbitrator for many years with the American Arbitration Association.
Robert has written many short stories and poems and has recently published a collection of these. He also authored a novel about a young man discovering girls and adult responsibilities.
Robert is active in Rotary International and in the local Odd Fellows Lodge. He is not much of a fisherman but enjoys throwing a line once in a while to relax. He received a Ham Radio license as a young man and enjoyed communicating with other operators around the world. Since he has been writing, the radio has been replaced by a keyboard.
He lives in Florida with his wife in the Tampa area where he writes while enjoying beautiful sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico.
