Hannah Whyman-Naveh

My name is Hannah and I love in West Norfolk, uk, with my family. I have 3 girls called Poppy 11, Indie 9 and Piper who's 3, along with my wonderful husband Idan. We live on a small farm, where we breed a handful of native sheep, keep horses, dogs and 30 chickens.

Writing has never been something I planned to do, however I did do art as a child and at college. Lockdown 2020 left me with a lot of spare time to twiddle my thumbs so I decided to illustrate a book, turn those illustrations in to a short story. The short story is based on my youngest daughter Piper and her pet chicken Minnie. The book has done so well that I am now making it into a series, plus a Christmas story.

This whole new world of writing and illustration has come from nowhere and yet I love it. I enjoy turning my quirky little drawings into book and I enjoy seeing other people read them time and time again.
