Erica Morgan

Erica Morgan is a nineteen-year-old author and artist from Severna Park, Maryland. Her first children's book, "A Shark Tooth Fairy Tale," was inspired by Erica’s childhood trips with family and friends to search for shark teeth near Calvert Cliffs, Maryland. When collecting dozens of teeth on the shore, she wondered, "How can one tooth fairy exchange so many shark teeth for gifts in a single night?" At the age of eleven, she wrote her book in answer to that question. The tale was tucked away in a drawer for many years, until she sketched a storyboard and decided to bring it to life! She encourages young authors to share their stories with the world.
