Keir Tayler

In boyhood, Keir Tayler found his identity in the rugged expanse of wilderness in Southern Rhodesia (Zimbabwe). As a young man, he left school to join the Rhodesian army, later becoming one of the first operational Selous Scouts, the most-decorated outfit in the Rhodesian security forces. After a being wounded on the battlefield, Keir found his life dramatically altered, physically, emotionally and spiritually. During his recovery, Keir decided to surrender completely to God – an act that is unusually difficult for a soldier. It becomes the event that shapes the rest of his life, and lights an inextinguishable fire to carry the Gospel of Jesus Christ to as much of the world as he can.
