Karin Rose O'Callaghan

For 60 years I have written stories. I once was kicked out of a Southern Lit class because I was writing instead of listening to the professor read from the textbook. I have a vivid imagination - some may say weird- and love to turn stories into published novels.

With the rise of KDP, at 71 I was finally able to publish my imagined stories. Notice I did not say "fantasies"; you'll understand when you read my first novel "'Til Death Do Us Part". I used a pseudonym (Austen Butler) because I did not want to embarrass my children or grandchild.

When I was young I wanted to be an FBI agent, but in those dark ages they only hired women for clerical positions. So now I live vicariously through my eldest son who IS an FBI agent, even though he never tells me anything juicy. My other son was with NSA. My husband was a Treasury agent for over 20 years. It seems law enforcement was in the genes.

I love to travel and can't wait to set novels in some of the exotic places we have visited. My first novel was published in March 2020 and the second - "In Sickness and in Health" - in July 2020 and my third "Gone!" in 2022. I've just started on my fourth.

I hope you will read one or all of my books! Let me know what you think, I always appreciate feedback.
