Thierry Hebbelinck

As a child I always liked to draw. I liked to draw heroes from comics.

When I was 9 years old my teacher asked to draw something in a poetry book for his nephew and asked me tot not sign with my name. So I knew from then that moment I had a special talent.

After primary school I followed the economics course.

After my humanities I wanted to study architecture, but it has become interior architecture. I wanted to go after primary school to the drawing academy but my mother didn't agree. So I had to wait after my college to continue something creative.

In the architecture college in Schaerbeek I followed an evening course in publicity drawing.

For me, this was an addition to creative techniques, as interior architecture places more emphasis on the technical.

In my spare time I continued to draw, paint and design and have occasionally been selected for exhibitions in the furniture design sector. My works have been published in specialized journals.

Since a few years I have focused on photography and now also on writing a children's book. The illustrations in my books are made with my finger on the track pad of my old Macbook pro.
