Rohit Agarwal served in Indian Army from 1989 to 2010, when he took premature retirement as a Lt Col. He is since engaged in the dual pursuits of Training and Writing. He works as a Learning and Development consultant for domestic and global organizations including the World Bank and the Bird Group. He is a certified Master Trainer for World Bank’s International Finance Corporation, and has trained over 300 trainers in India and overseas. He is also a mentor in Cherie Blaire Foundation’s program for mentoring women entrepreneurs, and his mentees have included women entrepreneurs from Israel, Kenya and Malaysia.
His books include “Delhi Durbar 1911”, “Riding the Raisina Tiger”, “Brave Men of War” , “In the Line of Fire” "1971 War - Selected Stories" , "To the Edge and Back" and “Academy – Bonded for Life”. He has two books in the pipleline including the Official History of Indian in WWI being published by the Ministry of Defence.
