Mohit Khanduri was born and bred in the Garhwal region for the first five years and did his schooling in Dehradun. Mountains, snowfall, wanderings in dense forests, and brooks and rivers shaped his imagination and creativity. He completed B.A(Honours) English from the University of Delhi before taking a master’s degree from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. P B Shelley, John Keats and Pablo Neruda are his favourite poets. He is known as a romantic poet among his college fellows.
His poems are an insight into a lover’s hopelessness in love. He is an aspiring writer who writes in English and Hindi. Besides love poems, he has also written traditional verses and short stories.
