Prateek Joshi

Prateek Joshi is a medical graduate from Delhi with a work experience of six years. He has published three self published books, two of them re-published with independent publishers. 'Mourning at Cafe Ford' has been released with Rehor Press. 'Anatomy of a Self Indulgent Moongazer' earlier published from Delhi's Bluerose Publishers is soon to release with 'Tridev Publishers' from Mumbai. Arc Asylum was self published with Become Shakespeare, a sister concern of Leadstart India and 'Mourning at Cafe Ford' was designed and printed by Cinnamon Teal Design and Publishing from Goa.

Prateek Joshi has worked on publishing skills with Bound India and The Seagull School of Publishing during three-month duration with each.

Prateek Joshi was published in The Daily Drunk Mag and Indian Review. Earlier he had won a contest organised from Half Baked Beans and was also awarded commendable mention twice by Delhi Poetry Slam. Prateek also won a contest for India's Next Big Writer 2021.

He has been published in anthologies by Half Baked Beans and Delhi Poetry Slam, including World Poetry Project's Latitudes and Languages in 2025.

Dr. Prateek Joshi is an MBBS graduate from University College of Medical Sciences, Dilshad Garden (Delhi). He was educated at APEEJAY School Panchsheel Park and Asha Modern School. He has professional work experience with a Community Health Centre (CHC) and a Medical College, both in Saharanpur District. Prateek Joshi completed his internship from Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital (Dilshad Garden, Delhi)

Prateek was born in Shamli to a doctor couple and was raised in a household in Saharanpur. His Labrador is named Gabru 'Mojo' Louvre – a black Retriever born on March 19 and receives regular care for his rabies-induced paraplegic leg.

He resides with parents in his hometown of Saharanpur in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India.
