A R Holmes

Antoine R Holmes is an African-American writer and actor based in Los Angeles, California. After graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Fine Arts, he continued his studies in Egyptian history, mythology, and culture. He is the author of Pharaoh: Power Behind The Sun Series.

Twenty years ago was when I learned the truth of Kemet and my ancestors. I shed tears when I wrote my first sentence that turned into a script that later became this novel. And while you, the reader, deciding to purchase Pharaoh, I shed tears again as I did so many years ago.

While the characters in this novel are highly dramatized, they were real living people, and the impact they have left on this world is still being discovered, learned, taught, and an inspiration to many.

Pharaoh: The Power Behind The Sun was originally written almost twenty years ago during a time when I had hit the lowest experience of my life. I felt angry, afraid, and vulnerable to the outcome that was given to me. After my loss, everything that I knew to be “TRUTH” was not, and the comforts of HOPE was empty. I was eager to learn but, more importantly, becoming aware that the real truth is of the KNOWLEDGE OF SELF. What started out to be the writing down of notes from research with my twin, that turned into a script, which evolved into this novel, along with the many sleepless nights of sadness became the one thing that fulfilled and rebuilt my confidence.

One of my goals besides writing and publishing this novel is that if just one person would read it and have their hearts, minds, opened and changed. Then I would be doing something consequential against the pervertedness and lies that are still being taught.

A goal completed, and this book exists.
