James T. Byrnes

James was born in Detroit, Michigan, and enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1977. He graduated from Oakland University in 1984, and that same year, he enrolled in law school. After reading Michael Crichton's "The Andromeda Strain," James discovered a passion for the thriller genre. His fascination with the intersection of science and danger led him to pursue a career as a suspense novelist. James and his wife have two sons, a daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren. His debut novel, "Operation Arrow Fletcher," was followed by its sequel, "Burying The Shadow."
