Timothy Dougherty

Timothy Dougherty began working as a freelance writer in 2019, focusing on environmental and global issues.

He has contributed writings on urbanization for the Breakthrough Journal, as well as articles on energy and consumption for Overview. Overview Timelapse is his first book, aiming to visualize the changes humans make upon the planet.

He graduated from Georgetown University, where he studied finance at the McDonough School of Business. Originally from Philadelphia, Tim currently resides in San Francisco where he enjoys the outdoors.
