Amber Otto

I have been writing since the age of 7 and gained the love to write as a way of expressing myself. I started out by writing book summaries from a young age and honed my skills and am still honing them by writing creative poems, newspaper articles, clinical pieces for medical journals and now songwriting. This book is my first published, original work besides a book summary I wrote in grade school. I felt "Smile Anyways" needed to be shared in lue of the COVID pandemic currently making a dent in our world's history. I also aimed for this piece to be a source of hope for children and adults alike to rise above any troubles they are facing and respond with love, kindness and humility even in the face of adversity. It's even a constant reminder for myself of what I need to do in times of questioning.
