Dominic M. Williams

Dominic's eclectic career has taken him from chopping down trees, to presenting international conferences and events, to interviewing CEOs of the largest companies in the world. He now works at one of the Big Four professional services firms, specialising in effective communication of complex technical messages.

His wife tolerates his foray into creative writing, and their Shiba Inu enjoys the “thinking walks” and "writing trips" to the pub.

Provenance is Dominic’s first fantasy novel, which he describes as "a ruthlessly thrown together collection of words that resemble a story”. He takes inspiration from his travels and his love of history, geography, and human (mis)behaviour.

Dominic's personal claim to fame is the compilation of an extensive list of Irish pubs in every country he has travelled to - the quirkier the better – the highest (Cusco, Peru), the driest (Doha, Qatar), and the least Irish (Istanbul, Turkey). He still claims that he gave the Peruvian pub its tagline of “Top of the mountain to ‘ya.” This is unconfirmed.

He tends not to win awards or prizes but could be considered above average at poker and racketlons.
