Monica Garnett

Monica was born in Detroit, Michigan, and is the eleventh child of the late Horace and Agnes Day. For much of her career, Monica has assisted senior citizens with their daily living activities in their homes, Group Homes, and Assisted Living settings. Monica enjoys speaking engagements, writing, traveling, music, singing, acting, reading, shopping, and eating.

Monica is a member of Grace Christian Church in Sterling Heights, Michigan where Pastor Jerry and Pastor Joy Weinzierl serve as senior pastors. Monica’s journey has taken her on roads of biblical studies at the Geraldine Marvell Miller Wright Institute for Women in Ministry, in June of 2013 and most recently, graduated from the Impact Bible Institute, a two-year biblical studies program offered at Grace Christian Church. Monica serves on the Freedom Team Intercessory Prayer Ministry at Grace.

Monica humbly stands on the Words that were spoken over her years ago; “Your best is yet to come”. One of Monica’s favorite scriptures is “And I am certain that God who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” ~ Philippians 1:6 NLT
