Aaron Barry

After years of training, Aaron Barry was finally able to reach a level of sarcasm hitherto unknown, and he now applies this to every form he touches, including free verse, haiku, short stories, articles, and novels. His work has been featured in over 100 magazines, and he is the winner of the 2019 VCBF Haiku Invitational. He was shortlisted for the Haiku Foundation's Touchstone Prize in 2021, and in 2023, his debut haiku collection scored an Honourable Mention in the 2023 Haiku Society of America Merit Book Awards. After serving as co-editor of "Prune Juice Journal" for the year of 2023, he switched to free verse, for which he's received international attention as the Ern Malley of the 21st century. His recent novels are "Femoid" and "pound, flesh."
