Patricia Ploss originally from Michigan, lives in north central Indiana with her husband of 25 years. They have two grown children and her first book, The Dandelion Picker, is a memoir about the horrific car accident her son Dawson was in, along with his story of substance abuse and working towards recovery. Writing fiction was always a dream on the back burner for Ploss, but when her son went down a bad path and ultimately nearly lost his life in a wreck, she knew she had to write the true story. Her hope is that The Dandelion Picker will help any parent, or individual in similar circumstances. Sometimes nearly the worst has to happen, for healing to begin.
After writing The Dandelion Picker, she went on to write novels. Emery's Promise, Letting Go, and Another's Child. Her fifth and sixth books will be released shortly.
Patricia is an author, and the associate publisher for Centaur Books. Her husband Tony farms over two thousand acres.. Son Dawson is now working and progressing in recovery from his accident. Daughter Rachel works in the philanthropy field, and currently living in Florida.
