Born and grew up in Hong Kong and living in the UK, Jennifer is the author of 回家 Letters Home (Nine Arches Press 2020), which explores the complexities of history, migration and translation; and a recent pamphlet, Time Difference (Verve Poetry Press, 2024). Other publications include Diary of a Miu Miu Salesgirl (Bitter Melon Poetry), Goldfish (Chameleon Press) and Summer Cicadas (Chameleon Press). She studied in Oxford and took a creative writing MA at University of East Anglia. She also earned a creative writing PhD from Oxford Brookes University. She is the author of the volume, Identity, Home and Writing Elsewhere: Anglophone Chinese Diaspora Poetry (Bloomsbury, 2023) and co-editor of Where Else: An International Hong Kong Poetry anthology (Verve) and State of Play: Poets of ESEA Heritage in Conversation (Outspoken Press). Her next collection is entitled Light Year (Nine Arches Press).
