Dora Wilbur

Dora Wilbur was born in Bellevue, Ohio. She grew up with 4 brothers and spent her days climbing trees, building forts, and playing in the creek near their house. Today she loves hiking in the mountains, walking along flowing streams, and relaxing on the swing on her back porch. Dora taught elementary school for 34 years until she retired in 2019. During her tenure as an accomplished teacher, she worked with children with autism, reading challenges, ADD, ADHD, hearing impaired, and many other special needs. She regularly writes a blog called Renew your Mind (www.dwilbur.com) to bring hope to the hopeless, encourage the discouraged and shed God’s light in a dark world. 'Lessons with Amy' is Dora's first book.
