Jo Brode has always been a story junkie and read about everything in reach as a kid, even the back of the cereal box. She worked as a journalist for several years and is now writing books in different genres.

The author currently lives with her family in the far north of Germany, where, contrary to popular belief, there is no such thing as bad weather, as long as the fish don't swim by at eye level.
