H. Douglas Knust

H. Douglas Knust is a teacher, mentor, and coach who has dedicated his life to helping young men grow into responsible, confident adults. For more than 20 years, he has mentored middle school boys and taught religious education for over 40 years.

In 2001, he founded a middle school boys’ service club where “Man Stuff”—a weekly discussion on life lessons—became a favorite tradition. Those lessons inspired his book, Man Stuff: Things a Young Man Needs to Know, written to help young men navigate life with purpose and integrity.

A graduate of Creighton University with a degree in finance, Doug spent over 30 years as a franchised automobile dealer and now operates several small businesses. He and his wife, Judy, live in South Dakota and enjoy time with their three children and four grandchildren.
