Peter Wolstencroft

Peter has worked in education for over 25 years and has written numerous articles and blogs on a wide range of issues within education. He currently works at Liverpool Business School (part of Liverpool John Moores Univeesity) where he focuses on the student experience and looks at how to further improve the teaching and learning.

A veteran of both further and higher education, much of his work has looked at the human side of education. This encompasses both the leadership of learning and also the art of teaching. He is passionate about ensuring that the idea of education for all is promoted at all times and has been known to quote the words above the old library in Pill, Newport, 'libraries gave us power' on numerous occasions.

When not writing about education he can normally be found in an ice rink watching ice hockey or on two wheels.
