Jasmin C. Alexander

I was born in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. I come from a large family - I have seven brothers and seven sisters. As a teenager, I worked in my father’s printery and later left to embark on a teaching career.

I have over thirty years' experience in teaching at public schools in the Caribbean. As a General Subject Teacher, I taught all core subjects in the Primary School Curriculum; including Mathematics, Grammar, Creative Writing, Phonetics, Reading Comprehension, General Science, Health Science, Social Studies, etc. I have taught substantially at the upper primary school’s level. I have a passion for teaching and enjoy seeing students of all cognitive abilities succeed academically.

I am a qualified teacher and hold an MBA-Finance from the University of Leicester, UK. At present, I am a Business Studies Teacher.

I am the author of the Mathematics Book Series: A Practical Guide to Mastering Numeracy Tests. I have written two books from the series and a short story for children entitled ‘Jenna: The Unforgettable Walk’. I hope to embark on different genres of writing, including Children’s, Romance, Poetry etc. At present, I am working on a romance novel entitled 'My Heart's Desire.'
