Dave Curliss

Direct descendants of eight Pilgrims of 1620, brothers Dave and Steve Curliss collaborated their decades of Early American History and genealogical studies to create "To Give Thanks". Their goal was simple: provide a unique storyline that will return the true stories to the conscious of Americans and 35 million living descendants.

The book is dedicated to their Pilgrim ancestors John Alden and Priscilla Mullins, William & Alice Mullins, Francis Cook and son John, George Soule, and Richard Warren.

Dave Curliss:

Dave has immersed himself in genealogical research and family history studies for over three decades. His work to collect and preserve life experiences of his ancestors has built a library of intimate portraits from each decade of American history. He fondly monikers the vast collection of research, The Life in My Blood.

A native of rural Ohio and father of two, he has enjoyed an award-winning career in network television. Presently, Mr. Curliss is currently developing his next novel that will follow America's 400-year journey after the Pilgrims' arrival. Using only experiences of his ancestors, it promises to offer a truly unique reflection on America’s history.

Dave's multi-generational family history, "The Genealogy of David L. Curliss", is among the select works found in The Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library reading room. Now he invites you to join him in the past lane with this novel, "To Give Thanks".

Steve Curliss:

A lifelong student of Modern History, Steve gained considerable expertise focusing on the intricacies of America's evolution and the social development of early America.

As a Producer and Writer of syndicated programming and feature films, Mr. Curliss also excels in several venues of entertainment management. Of particular interest are his years of exposure to esteemed American Indian officials, which provides unique insight into early Indian and Pilgrim relationships.



Working with a variety of Indian Nations, he's embraced these perspectives to properly balance his lifetime of studies. Having such authentic resources has inspired Steve to share this pure telling of the Pilgrims' journey to Thanksgiving.
