Jim’s career spanned 40 years as a manufacturing engineer with experience in the automotive, aerospace, heavy equipment, fiberoptic, industrial equipment, and other industries. His primary expertise is in precision machine design, but he has had projects analyzing the cost and efficient flow of goods across the factory floor. As a result, he understands the advantages and challenges of mass production along with insights into its modernization processes. His first book is Blind Spot: How Industry Rescued America’s Great Depression Economy.
