Lisa A. Smith

Lisa A. Smith is a former columnist and public relations professional who has been enamored with the written word since childhood. Never without pencil and paper, she has amassed volumes of stories, random ideas, and silly thoughts.

Smith is also an avid crafter. "I love to crochet, sew, weave, paint - if it's creative and at least a little bit messy, it sounds like fun!" A recent passion has been in reclaiming old fabrics, scraps of yarn and miscellaneous bric-a-brac to create something new and useful from it. "It's amazing what you can make from the various sections of an old pair of blue jeans!"

Scraps & Remnants is a compilation of written works concerning various roles from her life. Weaving those threads together into a written tapestry, Smith demonstrates how one aspect of life influences and informs the next. The result is a glimpse into a lifetime filled with learning and love.

Lisa is currently working on a novel due to be published before the holidays.
