Farina Leong

Farina Leong is a UK-based children’s author and founder of Little Canto Learning, a bilingual resource series designed to support families raising Cantonese-speaking children.

After struggling to find modern, spoken Cantonese materials suitable for young learners, Farina began creating her own structured vocabulary and conversation books focused on everyday family language. What started as a personal project has grown into a carefully developed collection used by families around the world.

Her books prioritise practical, spoken Cantonese, supported by Jyutping romanisation, English translations, and accompanying audio recordings to help parents teach with confidence — regardless of their own fluency.

Through Little Canto Learning, Farina aims to make Cantonese accessible, consistent, and part of daily family life.
