Stefania Prati

Stefania Prati was born in Rome, 8 days after the death of Kurt Cobain

She has always lived in Pomezia, graduated from high school in 2013, and obtained a degree in law from Sapienza in 2019. She is a big fan of rock music, novels, and video games; she has always loved drawing and creating stories.

Her debut novel is "Ceneri dall'isola che non c'è" (Ashes from the Neverland), published in 2019 by the publishing house L'Erudita. In 2020, during the lockdown, she finished writing her second novel, "Il Sogno di una Marionetta" (A Puppet's Dream), which she chose to self-publish. In 2021, she founded the YouTube channel Zombie Readers with Alessio Monni, writing and publishing stories on the channel, as well as creating illustrations and animations for the videos.

In August 2021, the first volume of the illustrated horror anthology "Il Tumulo degli orrori" was published, containing the stories narrated on the YouTube channel. The second volume followed the next year. Among the stories signed Zombie Readers, "Sonata verso la quiete" (Sonata Towards Silence) was selected to be published in the first volume of the magazine Weirdbreed (2022), while the story "Lui ha fame" (He's Hungry) was chosen for the second volume (2023).

Thanks to Zombie Readers, she was contacted by the publishing house Horti di Giano to write the 7th volume of their series GOTICO ITALIANO, featuring a graphic novel and a noir story. The volume was published in January 2023.
