S.D. Johnson

S.D. Johnson was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Johnson began writing short stories and poetry during her teenage years and continued to work on her craft throughout the years. Johnson earned her bachelor’s degree from The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) and she later earned her master’s degree in social work from The University of Alabama (Crimson Tide) with a concentration on adults and families. Johnson has participated in several poetry readings and contests while she attended UMES. Johnson attended Bowie State University for a short period of time and participated in a few poetry readings during that time. Johnson is hard at work on her next book.
