Berwick Augustin

Berwick Augustin has been an educator for over a decade. His experience ranges from teaching

Haitian-Creole, reading, and writing at the elementary to high school level. He is also a former

reading coach and now serves as an assistant principal. Mr. Augustin has authored a myriad of

plays, spoken word albums, and books. Among his most recent books are The 1803-Hatian Flag

and Black Freedom Series with accompanying curriculum workbooks (K-12). He is the found-
