Alex Blanco

Alex Blanco is an engineer by profession. He defines himself as a "budding writer and inveterate reader." From his youth he was interested in subjects like mythology, history and science fiction tales. His literary references are made up of the most diverse sources ranging from Joseph Campbell, Gabriel García Márquez, Isabel Allende, Stephen King and even H P Lovecraft.

Due to the loss of a close relative, he was plunged into a process of introspection that forced him to recapitulate some aspects of his past. From the above and after numerous attempts, he decided to face the greatest challenge of all: to write his first novel, "The Gifts of the Serpent", which began as a chronicle of an event that occurred during his university days that led to a totally alien to its original intentions. So the only thing he could express at the end of the last revision of the book was: "the unconscious is treacherous"

His second work: Two of Swords, shares some characters with his "first film", in it he explores his experiences at the University, only always with a hint of magic, love and suspense.

In an interlude he wrote the short story: "Fast remittances", derived from his experiences when he worked in a call center as a customer service agent. A tale of love, madness and evil.

The year 2019 was extremely full in literary matters, in that period of time he concluded his first trilogy by writing the novel "TRINITATIS", which united the narrative arcs of his first two novels. And he also started a new project with the detective novel LA MARCA DEL VIAJERO, which opens up a whole unknown Universe, since this trilogy will mark an unprecedented course in his writings.
