Her newest novel, No Safe Harbor, introduces readers to The Survivors, a gripping new trilogy that explores the boundaries of courage, trust, and resilience. Set against a backdrop of danger, uncertainty, and the struggle to survive, the series follows ordinary people thrust into extraordinary situations, where every decision carries consequences and survival is never guaranteed. Johnni is currently writing The Last Light, the highly anticipated second installment in the planned trilogy.

In addition to her suspense and survival fiction, Johnni is the co-creator of Fox Family Adventures, a children's book series she writes alongside her husband, Chris Gorges. Inspired by their family travels and experiences with their daughter, the series celebrates curiosity, exploration, and the joy of discovering something new.
