I have always loved books. Words are the writer's toolbox. As a writer I paint pictures and craft stories that take readers on a journey where they lose themselves in the lives of interesting characters.

I often have more than one story spinning in my head at the same time, but I manage to keep them separate from each other. This keeps each story unique, so character growth and plot lines aren't all the same or become repetitious. But this quirk of mine can make me impatient. I want to finish one book and get on to the next one. Taking a story from an idea to publication is a slow process, so I rein in my impatience and spend as much time on each scene as needed to help the readers see the characters and events as clearly as I see them in my head.
