Kat Ogle

Dr. Ogle is a board certified Emergency Physician, first-generation college graduate and physician, academician and single mother. She writes about the intersections between her upbringing and life experiences and how those inform her practice as a safety-net physician. She is particularly interested in underrepresented minorities in medicine, point-of-care ultrasound, medical education and women in leadership. She believes by sharing her vulnerability, she will connect more authentically with her audience and encourage readers who have an interest in medicine to pursue it.
