Joe Roberts is somewhat infamous in the wine world for being the voice behind 1WineDude.com, one of the world's most awarded wine blogs. Show Roberts a sacred wine cow, and he’ll turn it into a roast, pair it with an obscure Italian red, and hopefully teach you a little more about wine (and entertain you) along the way. Roberts has twice been named among the top 25 most influential people in the U.S. wine business.

Since leaving the corporate world to pursue wine media full-time, Joe has traveled the world visiting some of the most off-the-beaten-path wine destinations, judging wine competitions, and writing about wine for outlets as diverse as Parade, Playboy.com, Guardian UK, and Answers.com. He's the author of Wine Taster's Guide and the companion Wine Taster's Journal.

Joe lives in Pennsylvania with his daughters Lorelai and Gianna, and his partner Shannon. When his hands aren't on a wine glass, pen-and-notebook, or a keyboard, he's playing bass guitar and digeridoo for acclaimed singer/songwriter Steve Liberace.
