Trudy Wendelin

Trudy Wendelin is a self-taught Poet, giving rise to her authentic voice. She published The Silver Chalice Sonnets, a collection of 100 Shakespearean Sonnets, almost 20 years after written.

Trudy is also a passionate international traveler who has explored 100+ countries. She combined her love for travel and poetry in her book, True Winds Travel Poems, published in 2025. These fifty free-verse travel poems take readers on a journey around the world to thirty countries in all seven continents.  From the depths of Death Valley to heights of Machu Picchu, these poems transport readers on adventures faraway…within their own imagination.

Trudy graduated from Pacific College of Health and Sciences, San Diego in 2010, earning a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. She brings a diverse background as an Acupuncturist, Traveler and Poet to a unique prism from which to refract her personal poems. Furthermore, the author writes articles for her own Travel and Wellness website.
