Nafisah Abdul-rahim

Nafisah Abdul-Rahim (1981-) was born in Covington, Kentucky, but raised in Cincinnati Ohio. Born and raised Muslim her faith has always been an intricate part of her life. Her experiences growing up as an African American Muslim is where she draws her inspiration for her books. Nafisah's first book, Zara's New Eid Dress is a combination of traditons from her childhood and traditions she has built with her own family. Nafisah has been an Educator by trade for thirteen years, but has always dreamt of becoming an author.
