Martin Knox

Martin Knox graduated as an engineer in the UK and worked in the petroleum industry in Canada. He married an Australian, had children and worked in mining. At age 40 he became a high school science teacher and wrote a textbook published by the Queensland Department of Education. He has been writing novels full-time since 2013: speculative, love, crime fiction and satires. He is currently writing a novel with a futuristic story about an Olympic marathon champion. He is involved in public policy-making, proposing an underground railway for Brisbane and discussing climate science. He meets with writing and reading groups and studies philosophy. He writes letters, plays the guitar, does outdoor gym and dot-paints.
