Carlton M. Morris Jr. is a retired naval officer. Born in Opelousas, Louisiana January 30 1931, raised in New Orleans, graduated from Natchez High in 1950, enlisted in the navy and spent forty years in government service. During that time he directed air traffic, served on a submarine, a destroyer, net tender, sub rescue vessel and an LST in Vietnam. He was a navy recruiter, Chief Master at Arms for the discipline barracks in San Diego and Communications security officer for the ComSubPac, Commander of the Submarine Pacific Fleet. On retirement from active duty obtained an associate degree in commercial art and advertising and employment with the U.S. Civil Engineers. Retired as a construction cost analyst. Married twice, four sons, artist, passed member of Mensa and lay student of religion and esoteric doctrine. Christen Catholic, raised Baptist, had a religious revelation and converted to Pantheist by study, choice and experiences.
