Theodore Holtzhausen

Theodore Holtzhausen in "Three Spheres of Perception" addresses our morality in emerging society. This novel concept as he presented in 'Spheres of Perception: Morality in a Post Technocratic Society', delivers a new approach to how we interpret our place in the universe as set in three spheres of perception. This is based on new understanding of our evolutionary roots and advances in genetics and biochemistry. He applies this framework to propose a new ethical template for an AI-driven society. On a personal level he refused to believe that evolutionary biology, as we were taught, was a simple process of natural selection and survival of the fit. Perhaps an unusual but well suited place to witness this from was in his dealings as a vet with the malaise and suffering of different species in this search for a more benevolent world.

It was only in recent years and thanks to advances in genetics and molecular biology that the puzzle could be completed and backed by evidence timely in a world becoming increasingly malevolent. Drawing on interdisciplinary wisdom, empirical evidence to the natural sciences (mostly physics and biology) and inevitably philosophy this books arrive at conclusions that may be well suited to a much needed new approach to how we see ourselves as moral beings.

It has become evident that the new world will not be changed by a few clamorous politicians or a biased internet but rather than by a general awareness created by new freethinkers and intellectuals.
