Valma Shakti (Brenton) is a holistic practitioner transformational trainer and intuitive. She has a varied background in the healing arts as well as experience with international start up companies. Valma has always lived large and continues to offer leadership training, sailing, walking and spiritual adventures through HERIZEN Tm Life Adventures International Inc. In addition, through HERIZEN Yoga for Women, she holds International Yoga Teacher Trainings, Ayurveda / Astrology / Palmistry workshops and Spiritual Awareness Journeys around the world in nature. Valma Shakti (nee Brenton - Davie) is also a successful author and photojournalist, specializing in the occult sciences of palmistry and astrology as well as boating, sailing, fisheries and aquaculture related subjects. In addition, Valma has published numerous research publications that have appeared in scientific journals and government scientific updates. Other feature articles and photography has been published/displayed in magazines, newspapers, books and art galleries including the Maritime Musuem, BC, Canada, West Coast Fisherman, Northern Aquaculture, "Working the Tides" A Potrait of Canada's West Coast Fishing Industry and Pacific Aquaculture. She was featured in "Salt Water Women at Work " by Vickie Jensen.

Valma is a life long learner and has traveled and studied with a wide range of gifted teachers. For the last 5 years Valma has been a devoted student under the tutelage of expert Astrologer / Palmist Dr. Ramesh Rastogi of India. She has traveled to India extensively to work in Dr. Ramesh's office and received the copyrights to an earlier writing of the book Thumb - Symbol of Personality. Now after 35 years from the first publication, Valma has taken this book from the history of darkness into the light, updated and revised the teachings on the Self, removing obsolete language bringing more clarity and an easier understanding of this ancient knowledge.

Valma lives at the Clarananda Natural Living Yoga & Wellness Center, a tropical off the grid desert oasis near Todos Santos, BCS, Mexico where people come from around the world to learn about permaculture, a natural living lifestyle, growing food, astrology, palmistry, yoga both in person and on line through the Virtual Oasis Ashram. She follows the teachings of Shrl Neem Karoli Baba Maraharaj - ji.
