David Bellin

"Tofu Dave" Bellin was born in Brooklyn, New York, to parents who met in Brooklyn, mother fleeing the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. He has been a political labor organizer, computer operator, mechanic, licensed contractor, real estate broker, business owner, and overseas volunteer. A Fulbright award from the US Congress two times, a stint in Kathmandu Nepal was formative. Now residing in Chapel Hill NC he helped start the local community radio station WCOMFM.org and is active in several non profit community efforts.
