I.O. Scheffer

I.O. Scheffer (2000 -) is the proud parent of a small, one-eyed dog named Mr. Rogers. He spends his free time making music or crafting worlds and writing them out on her PC or in notebooks.

He has a background in forensics speech and debate, which taught them a number of valuable skills relating to public performance and research. He takes representation seriously and is a strong believer that there is no ONE WAY to be, which shows in his writing through his complex characters.

The majority of his stories are character-focused and tackle real-world issues in a fictional context. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, he showcases LGBTQ+ characters and relationships in his stories. Mental health issues, neurodivergence, and other ways of being have a place in his books. You'll find rich casts, dynamic character relationships, familiar yet unique personalities, societal and interpersonal conflict, internal challenges, and so much more when you read her work.
