Aaron O'Dea

Aaron O'Dea grew up in the Groves under the shadow of York Minster but eventually emigrated to Panama where he is now Staff Scientist at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute. His research focusses on using the fossil record to understand how life in tropical oceans changes over time -- both with and without humans in the world. He is an advocate for science communication writes popular books about Panama and the history of life.
