Katherine Slee

I grew up as a bit of a tomboy, with scars on my knees and mud in my hair, and as a result developed a taste for everything from Star Wars to whiskey, with a dash of ornithology thrown into the mix. When I’m not either reading or writing, I enjoy watching Bake Off and (attempting) to bake myself, Pilates, swimming and walking the dog. My favourite place to be is on the beach in France, where the light is always surprising and the ice-cream is the best I’ve ever tasted.

I studied history at university after which I worked in the crazy and chaotic world of investment banking. I'm now a stay-at-home mother to two children and a very stubborn dog!
