Leslie Howard

Leslie's debut novel, The Brideship Wife was published in May, 2020 by Simon and Schuster, Canada. It was an instant national bestseller and remained on the bestsellers list for 9 weeks. It was also chosen as a Loan Star by Booknet Canada.

Her second novel, The Celestial Wife was released in April 2024. It was chosen as "a best book of spring," by The Toronto Star, Chatelaine Magazine and Zoomer Magazine.

Her third novel, Shades of Emily, based on the life of the renowned artist Emily Carr, will be published by Douglas and McIntyre, September 22, 2026. The US edition will be released in the spring of 2027.

Married with two grown children and three grandchildren, Leslie divides her time between Vancouver and a small heirloon cider apple farm in the beautiful southern Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. You will find her most days in the orchard or at her writing desk with her big chocolate lab, August by her side.
